Okay, I need a little validation here. Did anyone else cry while watching Juno? Mr. T made fun of me because I did and he has a hard time believing anyone other than a hormonal, pregnant person would cry during this movie. We both enjoyed the movie a lot and thought it was funny, but I also felt it was very touching and my tears just started rolling during the scene where Juno was talking to her dad about love. Yes, it took several hugs from H&M along with a few dirty looks @ their dad before I felt any better -- and no the kids did NOT watch the movie with us. I just don't think it matters what age you are when you become a mother. Being pregnant is such an emotional process that the thought of birthing a human being and then not being able to be a part of it's life afterwards just made me really sad.
Speaking of pregnancies, I can't wait till mine is over with. I am getting huge and comfortable and sore everywhere. To add to my misery, I'm starting to nest and I have my eyes set on a lot of new stuff. I really shouldn't be buying so many big ticket items considering that I'll be out of work for 3 months, but I just can't help being so unsatisfied with my filthy 7 year-old sofa set and uncomfortable bed :-/.
On the photography front, my computer has been fixed, but Mr. T did a switch-a-roo and installed windows vista instead of xp and for the life of me, I can't figure how to reinstall my actions on vista. I'm so peeved but haven't had the time or motivation to read up on how to do this, so if any of you have a quick link on this subject for PSE 5, please let me know. Otherwise, if you're waiting for pictures from me, it will be quite a few more months and you can thank my husband or give him the dirty eye for me too.
Well, I'm sure I won't be posting again for a few more weeks, so Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there! My sisters/SILS and I are taking my mom to the casino for a girls night out :-). Wish us luck!
